Start by heading up the kloof to a waterfall, keep an eye out for a surprising variety of birds or swim in the farm dam. Alternatively, pack a picnic (or order at the farm stall) and hike to a picnic spot. You can also fill the afternoon with mountain biking, a 4x4 trip or try your luck at fishing.

Finally, end the day as you started it, stoepsitting ... while you experience the canvas of the sky and breathtaking views of the mountain.
